Tiger Aquatics strives to develop important skills for life in young swimmers. It is our goal to produce confident leaders who have developed the skills of goal setting, self responsibility, hard work ethic and time management. Our swimmers are anyone and everyone who wants to become a member of the team. Our youngest swimmers are five years old and have to be able to make the length of the pool (25 yards) unassisted. Our oldest swimmers are over 60 and are required to be able to jump in the pool.

Our staff is dedicated to the pursuit and happiness of our members! We are here to train all ages and all ability levels. The dedication of the staff has been extremely evident in the rise of the Tiger Aquatics team at a state level, regional level, national level and international level.

Our team structure is set up for beginner swimmers to learn how to swim utilizing the Swim America Program developed by the American Swimming Coaches Association.  In SwimAmerica, we use a high standard.  We are in business to save lives.  That means a person can maintain themselves indefinitely in the water.  To do so, requires the ability to exhale used air and inhale new air.  That's called Aerobic Swimming.  (just like being able to talkd while you jog!)  Our standard is that a person should be able to swim 300 yards non-stop, and swim 6 different styles of swimming to be considered a "swimmer".  300 yards is important.  Scientest have found tha humans ca swim 200 yards with out being able to breathe effectively.  But with out the ability to breathe effecively, eventually that person will get into trouble, and possibly endanger their life.  We went 1/3 beyond that point to set our standard of 300 yards of non-stop swimming.  That goal wont be quickly achieved.  It takes time.  But it can save your child's life.  That's worth the investment of time.  After all, learning to swim is a LIFETIME GIFE.

The nest phase for our younger swimmers to further refine their technique while having fun and learning about team dynamics. The first introduction into our team is  the PAWS group which swims 5 days a week from 6:00-6:45pm (5 days a week is not mandatory).

The CUBS group is our next group up and in this group technique and proper drill work is the heavy emphasis for the athletes to grow into the future star swimmers! This group swims from 5:00-6:00 five days a week .

The JUNIOR TIGERS is the group up from cubs, and at this level, aerobic swimming is developed along with stroke technique, clock management, dryland and team building exercises. This group meets from 5:00-6:30pm.

The TIGERS group is next which preps our athletes for the Pre-Senior/Senior groups. This level is focused on maximizing the athletes’ aerobic capacity, along with improved technique and fundamentals. This group practices from 5:30-7:30pm.

The SENIOR group is the level right below the Elite group and this group of athletes is focused on increasing each athletes swimming background. The aerobic level at this group drastically changes due to the different background of each swimmer. This group swims from 4:00-6:00pm.

Tiger Aquatics top level is the ELITE group which preps athletes to swim at a Sectional, Junior Nationals, Senior National and Olympic Trial level. This group swims from 4:00-6:30pm.

MASTERS is a group of people that have a life long love for the sport, some are triathletes, some are older star swimmers that swim to stay in shape and some are people that want to get back into shape. This group is not just for people that have been swimming their entire life but for people that want to give swimming a try.
