The LSU Natatorium

Tiger Aquatics operates out of one of the finest facilities in the country.  The number of lanes available for training are second to none in Louisiana and the envy of many teams in the USA.

The LSU Natatorium ("Nat"), is located at the northwest gates of the Louisiana State University campus and was built in 1985 for the National Sports Festival.

Home for the LSU Swimming and Diving programs, the Nat offers an Olympic-sized 50 meter indoor pool of a constant depth of 7 feet.  It also has a diving pool of 12-17 feet depth with two 1-meter Dura Maxiflex boards and two three meter Dura Maxiflex Diving boards.  Platforms at 5, 7, and 10 meters as well as a trampoline and diving Port-A-Pit allow for excellent instruction.  The diving pool can also be configured with (6) 25 yard lanes for competition swimming.

The Nat can accommodate several competition swimming configurations that are second to none in the state including (2) 8-lane 25 yard courses, (1) 6-lane 25 yard course, (1) 8-lane 50 meter course capable of starts at both ends, and of course a diving pool.

Additionally, the Nat has several state of the art training apparatuses including "power towers" and stationary fitness equipment.
