Bengal Tiger Aquatic Club

(Tiger Aquatics Booster Organization)

The Tiger Aquatics organization consists of 2 separate entities: Tiger Aquatics, LLC (TAQ)and Bengal Tiger Aquatic Club (BTAC). Tiger Aquatics, LLC was established in 2005 as a USA Swimming program for the swimmers on the LSU Swimming and Diving teams and is directed by the LSU Swimming & Diving Head Coach.

The Bengal Tiger Aquatic Club was established in 1985 to serve the community of the greater Baton Rouge area in all aspects of
aquatic sports. In 2006 the Bengal Tiger Aquatic Club merged its swimming and diving operations with Tiger Aquatics in order to take advantage of excellent coaching and leadership. As part of this joining of forces, the Bengal Tiger Aquatic Club remains intact as the sole volunteer support group and booster organization of the athletes of Tiger Aquatics.

BTAC is a not for profit 501(c)3 education institution as determined by the IRS, run by the members of the club through a board of directors.

Several committees support the Tiger Aquatics athletes.  One of the primary support functions of BTAC is running swim meets at the LSU Natatorium both for Tiger Aquatics and LSU Swimming & Diving.
