David Geyer, has been with Tiger Aquatics for 3 years as Head
Coach and was recently announced as Head Coach of LSU Swimming and
as such will continue to provide leadership and direction for Tiger
Aquatics as Program Advisor. In three short years, under
Dave’s guidance the Tiger Aquatics program has improved from
7th in the state to it’s recent 2nd place finish at the
2009 long course championship.
In the water Coach Dave has had multiple top 16 rankings with
his athletes, including Grant Grenfell’s #1 US ranking in the
400 IM as a 12 year old. Two athletes have been selected for
the National Zone Select Camp. Four athletes have achieved
NCSA Junior National standards. Coach Dave also trained
Estonia’s Miko Malberg during his post graduate career
leading up to the Beijing Olympics and the 2008 European Short
Course Championships.
Prior to arriving in Baton Rouge, Geyer gathered five years of
coaching experience on the collegiate and club levels. The
Pittsburgh, Pa., native served as an assistant coach at Mecklenburg
Aquatics from 2002-05. Before his three-year stint at Mecklenburg,
Geyer was an assistant at his alma mater of Shippensburg University
from 1999-2001. He helped train all levels of athletes from
developmental to national.
A talented athlete himself, Geyer was a four-time All-American
in relays at Shippensburg. He graduated from Shippensburg with a
bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1999 before receiving his
master’s degree in counseling in 2001. Geyer’s
leadership skills did not go unnoticed as he received the Rick
Marlin Scholarship Award while serving as a team captain.
Geyer is married to the former Lyndi Croft of State College, Pa.
The couple has two daughters, Maddilyn, 5 and Kayda, 2.

Craig received a BS in Education from The University of
Louisiana-Monroe in May 2000. From then until 2010 he
has been Senior Assistant Coach with City of Plano Swimmers in the
Dallas area. In 2007 he was assigned additional
responsibilities as Marketing/PR Coordinator with City of Plano
Swimmers.
Craig began his swimming career in Natchitoches, Louisiana,
where he swam for the Natchitoches Northwestern
Neptune’s. In his senior year of High School he
joined the Indian Aquatic Club in Monroe, Louisiana with Coach John
Pittington. He attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe
(Division 1) on a four-year swimming scholarship under Coach
Pittington and was Co-captain his Junior and Senior years at ULM.
Craig's coaching career began during college with several
summer league swim teams and coached with Indian Aquatic Club
part-time. He spent his 5th year of college as a student
assistant coach under Coach Pittington.
After graduation Craig was Plano Senior High School Head
Swimming Coach 2000-2007 where he had many significant
accomplishments:
2 High School National Champions, 62 Swimming All-Americans, 4
Academic All-Americans, 40 All-State Swimmers, 7 State Champions,
15 School Records Broken, 6 Girls District Championships, 7 Girls
Regional Championships, 4 Boys District Championship, 2 Boys
Regional Championships, 1 Texas 5A State Record Holder, 2 Texas 5A
Male Swimmers of the Year, 6 National Federation of State High
School Associations Swimming Honor Role Swimmers. Girls State Meet

Craig has been married to his wife Sarah since 2000 and

Jeannine Malbrough

Jeannine Malbrough enters into her 3rd year with Tiger
Aquatics in 2010 and recently became full-time Assistant Head
Coach. She currently coaches the Tigers group and in
addition, coaches our Masters morning group and conducts several
Masters clinics throughout the year.
Jeannine is a recent graduate of LSU (2005); and a former
member of the LSU Swimming and Diving Team. Jeannine brings to
Tiger Aquatics several years of coaching experience from summer
league, middle school, and high school; as well as
being a 3 year varsity letterman on the LSU Swimming and
Diving team, specializing in breaststroke and IM. She was a
member of SEC Championship team and the SEC Academic
Honor Roll.
Jeaninine is a native of New Orleans where she attended
Mount Carmel Academy. She was team captain and
a three-year letterwinner. Consensus all-district,
all-metro, all-state selection freshman, junior and senior
years. Zone champion in the 100 breast. Member of high school
state champion squad. Graduated with honors and was also named a
"Who’s Who Among American Students". Presented
President’s PSAT award.
Jeannine has 3 brothers Joey, Garrett, and J.R.; and 2 sisters
Allison and Meghan. Her birthday is 11-13-1984. Jeannine loves LSU
football and baseball!

Anna M Mitchell

Anna Mitchell enters into her 4th year with Tiger Aquatics in
2010 as the Manager of the Tiger Swim School program and recently
as one of the Paws group coaches. Anna's encouraging
nature makes her a perfect match for swim school instruction
and Paws coaching. A Baton Rouge local, she will start at LSU
as a freshman in the fall.

Gabriel H Landry

Gabe Landry is our newest addition to the
tiger aquatics staff. A
Baton Rouge resident, he graduated from
Catholic High School in 2009. Gabe is now a sophomore at LSU
majoring in Finance.
Gabe began swimming summer league at a young
age and eventually began club swimming at the age of 12. After 6
years of competitive swimming Gabe accumulated many accolades
including a 4 time individual state champion as well as numerous
top three finishes in State and Zone meets. Gabe was captain of the
Catholic High School swim team his senior year and was a member of
the all-metro team his sophomore through senior year.
We are very excited about our new addition and
look forward to continued success with our Cubs and Paws group.

Donna Davis

Donna is the Tiger Aquatics Office Financial Manager and joined
the staff during the transfer of ownership from the former LSU
Swimming Coach to BTAC. Donna brings excellent organizational
skills and financial knowledge to the club office and will be
responsible for processing new memberships, billing and accounts
receivable as well as other administrative activities. We
welcome Donna and are excited to have her join our staff!
Donna is married to Kenny and they have three children Rosa,
Vincent, and Julia, all of who are swimmers.

Sarah (Manton) Kelley

Sarah (Manton) Kelley is the newest addition to the Tiger
Aquatics coaching staff. Originally from
Covington, Louisiana, Sarah is a senior at LSU majoring in
Sociology with a minor in Spanish.
She started swimming competitively her freshman year of
high school, and also began swimming and coaching the
Kehoe-France Blue Dolphins (now known as BLAST) in Covington,
LA.
Most recently, she worked with the Paula Manship YMCA,
starting as a lifeguard and quickly moving up in
the organization--coaching the Manship Hurricanes,
teaching group and private swim lessons, and eventually
becoming the Aquatics Coordinator. Sarah is excited
about her new position at Tiger Aquatics, and her future in
the coaching arena. She is a recent
newly-wed, married to Josh Kelley of Houston, Texas. They are
expecting their first child, a girl, in July 2010.
